About Orange Leaf Therapy
Hi, I'm Ally.
If you've made it this far, you're probably seriously contemplating therapy or other forms of deep work. It's courageous to begin an inquiry into the Self, and I'd be honored to be a part of your journey.
I specialize in working with trauma, helping those who wish to untangle themselves from their past and find relief in the present. In the face of overwhelming experiences, it's natural to armor ourselves against the world and seek refuge in our minds. But you can't think your way out of this - You feel your way out.
My education in somatics helped me understand the impact of my own trauma and understand dysfunctional patterns that had emerged as a result. As I walked my path and healed my relationship with my body, I learned the transformative power of somatic work. My approach focuses on creating a safe and compassionate container where vulnerable material can emerge without becoming overwhelming.
When it comes to trauma work, very little is simple or easy. Many have turned to me when they felt they had exhausted other options; when they needed someone who could sit with them in the darkness and nurture a small light.
In the end, our healing is found through relationships. Let's walk where neither of us could go alone.
"Autumn leaves don't fall, they fly. They take their time and wander on this, their only chance to soar."
~ Delia Owens.
